Andrew Pequignot is a member of The Moore Firm, LLC, an entertainment and intellectual property boutique firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. He has litigation, transactional, and counseling experience in diverse areas such as music licensing, fair use, the DMCA, software, Section 230 of the CDA, the First Amendment, and rights of privacy and publicity.
Andrew is a frequent writer and speaker and has lectured at Emory University and Georgia State University on topics including the DMCA, fair use, and the First Amendment. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine and as one of the “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend magazine.
Andrew currently co-chairs the Southeast Chapter of The Copyright Society of the U.S.A. (“CSUSA”) and is on the editorial board of the Journal of CSUSA. He formerly served on the committee that drafted the pattern jury instructions for copyright cases in the Eleventh Circuit and chaired the copyright committee of the IP Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
